After the judicial review on Tuesday, Barrister Olusegun Bamgbose who is the National Coordinator of Concerned Advocates for Good Governance CAGG, has counselled the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate and his legal group to reconsider and withdraw their application and acknowledge their faults to the apex of court.

The Supreme Court should Bill the rule on the application by Ihedioha against Governor Hope Uzodinma and his party, All Progressive Congress, APC on Tuesday.

Ihedioha’s Lawyer requested that the hearing date should please be shifted from Monday to Tuesday, this was granted by the apex court, and it should be the second time the former governor Ihedioha and his Lawyer’s team is making such request.

Ihedioha and his team seek and wish that Supreme Court would reverse the judgment which disqualifies and sacked him as the governor of Imo state and installs Senator Uzodinma.

Barrister Bamgbose further stated that applying for adjournment won’t solve the issue because no one ever thought that Supreme Court wouldn’t respect the two great SAN, “Afe Babalola and Wole Olanipekun”.

They were sanction personally, and I think this is the first time they are witnessing such in their many years of practice, so Ihedioha and his team should withdraw the review matter before things get worst.

In other words, the Supreme Court should throw out such review cases with the intervention of US or whatsoever to avoid floodgates of review cases in Nigeria.
