French Minister of Culture, Franck Riester has tested positive to the deadly coronavirus disease.
The Guardian UK on Monday reported that the Minister is staying in his Paris home and the Ministry said he’s “doing fine.”
The Ministry explained that the Minister returned from the country’s lower house National Assembly, where five cases if Covid-19 was earlier confirmed.
When the Minister returned, he displayed some symptoms and confirmed to be positive of the virus when tested.
The office of Prime Minister has released a statement that they are doing their best to curtail the further spread of the virus to all French people.
On Monday, about 25 people have died of the virus in France, and about 4000 people have been killed worldwide.
