Marlians is a common word used by the fans of Nigerian Musician, Naira Marley, whose real name is Afeez Fashola.
Even the children, youths, and even some adults on the street have adopted the movement called ‘Marlin.’
On the streets, you can hear words like “Marlians zero belt, no manners,” “Marlians don’t go to school.”
Adeboye made this statement on Tuesday and said Christians could not be called Marlians because they cannot be affiliated with ‘Weed”.
This was posted on his official Instagram page.
It reads, “You cannot be a Christian and be a Marlian.” “There is no relationship between the seed and weed.”
