A 28-year-old woman, Biola Adeyanju has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for having carnal knowledge of her male friend, Dayo Adebayo
The incident happened at Onirugba, Kano Villa, Ijebu Ode Ogun State last on Wednesday after Titilayo had lured her Dayo to her room where he was drugged and repeatedly raped
While reacting and confirming the information on Wednesday, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said men of the state police command had arrested Titilayo following a report by Dayo of being raped.
The PPRO stated that Titilayo was apprehended the following day Dayo reported
Oyeyemi said Titilayo sent him a WhatsApp message on the 15th Of March of 1.45pm that he should help her buy food and skushis (a street cocktail mixed with alcohol, milk and sugar, among others), and bring them to her house that she wasn’t feeling well
He added that when he got there, Titilayo offered her a bottle of drink, which I took.
Immediately I finished taking the drink; i became very weak as a result of that Titilayo raped me.
Titilayo Speaking on the incident said “ it wasn’t intentional, the alcohol i took got a whole of me, i regret my actions
Speaking On the strength of the report, the DPO, Ijeb Division, SP Olatubosun, directed his men to the house, where Titilayo and kazeem were arrested.
The State Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, had ordered the transfer of Titilayo to the Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and possible prosecution.
