Samuel Ortom, Governor of Benue State and his Deputy, Benson Abounu, and the Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development, David Olofu, have received the result for their Coronavirus test.
Governor Ortom received the result on Friday and encouraged Benue people to go for the CONVID-19 test to know their status.
Their result came out negative of the dreaded virus.
He commended all individuals, organizations, and the State Action Committee on Coronavirus for their selfless contribution to eradicating the virus from the state.
The Governor expressed happiness that all the people tested recently; no new case has been discovered except the first one.
Always observe personal hygiene by always washing their hands with soap and using alcohol-based sanitizers, Ortom advised
He advised that social distancing should equally be maintained as all these measures will prevent one from contracting the virus.
Governor Ortom assured Benue people that under his watch, the state government would not relent in doing its effort to prevent the spread of the virus.
