The government of Lagos State made a statement that it has commenced house to house search to get individuals infected with COVID-19 in Lagos state.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, disclosed this at a joint press briefing on the intervention held in Alausa, Ikeja, concerning COVID-19.
He said the COVID-19 identification campaign, which commenced on Monday, April 6, 2020, is meant to run for two weeks across the state.
He said during this season, health workers will move to houses with health facilities to administer electronic questionnaires on people of the state.
He said the questionnaires are based on the symptoms of coronavirus.
Abayomi said the officials in charge of this case would be identified by the tag they wear and a letter from the local government.
