Abu Usamah, a top commander of the dreaded Boko Haram group, was captured live in his underground bunker, as the Army intensified their clearance operations in the sect enclave in Borno State.
The capture of this top commander and the clearing of their hideout means so much for our gallant soldiers in the fight against the Boko Haram terrorists.
Cooperation of Neighboring Countries
The Chadian Army launched an offensive a week ago led by the President himself Idriss Déby, this offensive attack against the group in retaliation of the group’s killing of their soldiers gave the Boko Haram insurgent the needed heat to smoke them out of their hiding.
Nigerians have praised the Chadian President Idriss Derby, for leading by example and boosting the morale of the soldiers.
A stronger coordination and intelligence sharing of the Chad Basin Nations will go a long way to nip this menace to the board finally.
