The current fire invading building and shops in the Lebanon area of Dugbe Ibadan, in Oyo state, has drastically claimed goods worth millions of naira.
According to reports, the fire started by 1:20 pm. It razed a popular building and the row of shops where mattresses, clothes, household goods and electronics are sold.
Fire service members from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in the area tried their possible best by emptying their three water tankers and frantically battling the fire.
No life was lost, but the traders whose shops are affected are crying.
