The Catholic Church head, Pope Francis, has said the COVID-19 is happening as a result of humans ignoring the ongoing ecological crises.
The cleric made this known due to the ongoing debate on social media on the relationship between Antichrist, 5G network, and COVID-19.
In an email interview published in the Tablet and Commonwealth Magazines, Pope Francis said it is an opportunity for humans to understand the natural world by slowing down on production and consumption.
“I don’t know if Coronavirus is the revenge of nature, but they are certainly the response of nature.” He said.
Due to the pandemic, the pope celebrated Palm Sunday mass in an empty church.
