A severe power struggle is going on in Aso Rock as the plan to replace the late chief of staff is ongoing.
Kingibe has been running the office as acting since the late Abba Kyari went for his treatment before he died.
Our source noted that the first lady is not happy with the choice of Kingibe as the replacement of Kyari.
She saw the death of Abba Kyari as an opportunity to get what she has been yearning for since her husband came into office in 2015.
“Madam is determined, don’t underrate her.” The members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) are working to make her interest work to reduce the influence of Mamman Daura in the presidency.
So many members of the National Assembly are said to be with the first lady as they don’t want the same kind of Abba Kyari’s style of leadership.
“Madam has so many secrets she’s not telling anybody. She knows Kingibe is a very selfish person and would betray Buhari if he’s allowed there.” Our source said
Meanwhile, different groups such as The Buhari Organization (TBO), Buhari Support Group (BSG), and other groups are firmly against the selection of Kingibe as a replacement.
Some prominent names lined up for the position are Mohammed Sarki Abba, SA on domestics, Hamid Ali, Custom boss, and Ibikunle Amosun, former governor of Ogun state, among others.
