Police Officer’s Hand Cut Off For Trying To enforce Lockdown Order (Watch Video)

An Indian policeman was recently attacked with a sword while trying to enforce the lockdown due to coronavirus.

Harjit Singh, who is an assistant sub-inspector with the Punjab Police, was on patrol outside a vegetable market in Patiala when they were attacked by seven men of the Nihang Sikh warrior sect.

During the attack, Singh’s arm was chopped off by one of the warriors, and he was seen screaming in pains.

According to CNN, the perpetrators were arrested and taken into custody, but Singh and his fellow officers were rushed to the hospital due to severe injuries.

Officer Singh had a painful surgery, but the doctors were able to reattach the severed limb to his left wrist.
