The President Of The United States, Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he had ordered the Navy to “shoot down and destroy” any of the Iranian gunboats that come to harass US ships.
This order comes after the US Navy reported that some Iranian boats have been making harassing and dangerous moves towards the American vessels at the Persian Gulf.
Trump did not mention any event whereby the shooting down should take place.
The White House was unavailable for comment as at when this post was made. When the US Navy was contacted for questions, they referred us to the Pentagon, and when we reached the Pentagon, they referred the questions to the White House.
