Kemi Olunloyo, the Instagram Nigerian journalist, has lost her Twitter verification badge.
This is coming a few days after she tweeted that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB, is dead.
Kemi, who later came out to clarify that she never said Kanu is dead but said might have died.
IPOB went ahead to report Kemi to twitter for the fake news she was spreading, and Twitter was not happy, which lead to her losing her verification badge.
Twitter says its right is reserved to remove the verification of anyone at anytime if you go against their rule.
The reason for removal might come from behaviors off and on Twitter, which includes spreading false news, misleading people on twitter by changing display name or bio.
Directly threatening or attacking people, promoting hate and violence against other races, nationalities, ethnicities, gender, religion, etc.
