Three persons who tested positive to coronavirus in Kano state have fled their address and switched off their phones to avoid being tracked.
This was revealed to Premium Times on Monday, April 27, by the Kano state coordinator of the technical response team on Covid-19, Tijjani Hussaini.
Tijjani said they’ve contacted the security agencies to help them trace the runaway patients.
“We are also working with the traditional heads in all wards to trace the patients. Seventy-seven persons tested positive, but we are yet to see three of them because they changed their address and their phone numbers.” Tijjani said
“But there is no cause for alarm, security agencies have been told, and they are tracing the patients.” He added.
