President Buhari speaks on resumption of schools

The Presidency has made some clarifications on the resumption of schools as President Buhari speaks on the relaxation of lockdown.

President Buhari, during his last broadcast, has eased the lockdown starting from Monday but was silent on the resumption of schools.

However, the spokesperson person of President Buhari, Femi Adesina, said schools might open for those about to write WAEC.

He made this known why featuring on a program in TVC.

He said, “looking at Germany, they reduced their lockdown gradually and opened schools because of those who have exams. The same thing may apply here for those who are about writing WAEC and other examinations.

They may be allowed to go back and write their exams.

However, the decision on when school will open will be taken by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and related to citizens.
