The Federal Government of Nigeria has on Friday proclaimed that anyone found without a face mask should be prosecuted.
Presidential Task Force (PTF), disclosed this in a document on COVID-19 as the part of guideline released for the implementation of the phased and gradual easing of the lockdown.
The five-page document was signed by PTF Chairman on COVID-19 Boss Mustapha and Secretary to the Government of the federation.
The chairman also stated that anyone found with the temperature of above 38oC would be mandated to go back home and call NCDC immediately for Evaluation.
Also, anyone who is not with a face mask/covering will be asked to go back home and would be prosecuted, the same with those that will violate the curfew in a non-emergency situation.
No one should be found violating the rules of public gathering and the inter-state movement ban outlined in this guideline, for anyone seen will be prosecuted immediately.
