Some patients having coronavirus in Kwado Isolation Centre, Yamaltu Deba Local Government of Gombe state, have reportedly blocked the popular Biu Road and Gombe road.

The patients are said to protesting against the Government’s negligence, medical attention in the isolation center, and inadequate food.

The people living in the community spoke with SaharaReporters, saying that it is true that they have been left in the isolation center, and there are presently destroying the resident’s properties on the highway.

This is sad, and I wonder what could have led these patients into protesting against the Federal Government, he said. Maybe the Government is not being fair and truthful to them.

LIB reached out to the reporter of the police command, SP mary Malum, who confirmed the incident and reported that peace had been restored to the area because it was a minor issue.

”The area is calm now. There is no problem. It was a minor something, not serious. They have all gone back in. They have been taken back into the Isolation center where they were before” she said.
