Ango Suleiman, the chairman of the Federal Capital Territory (FTC) Youth Task Force on Covid-19, has advised that President Buhari should Lockdown Abuja.
He spoke at the news conference on Wednesday, saying that followed the number of coronavirus cases and deaths so far recorded, that the president should lockdown Abuja.
According to him, the Federal Government should not minding public opinions on the ease of the measures earlier put in places to slowdown the spreads of COVID-19 in the country.
“The same peoples demanding the ease of lockdown will also be the ones to come back to criticize and condemn the actions of the governments when things goes wrong. Therefore, the only option is doing whatever is best for the people,” NAN quoted him as saying.
He further warns that the law enforcement agencies were becoming overwhelmed and gradually losing control over the people since the lockdown was lifted.
