Umar Faruk, the Emir of Daura, was hospitalized and placed in the intensive care unit of the Federal Medical Centre Katsina on Tuesday for an “undisclosed ailments.”
The report has it that the Katsina monarch was moved out of the palaces in Daura at abouts 1:am, to Katsina town where he was admitted and moved him into the care unit of the hospitals.
A source who spokes to Nigerian Tribune said the Emir of Daura was rushed to the care center of the hospital after his health worsened on Tuesday. He said;
Yesterday the health status of Emir of Daura worsened the more that he cannot speak and even walk, so he was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Katsina.”
This is coming after the Secretary of the state government, Dr. Mustapha Inuwa, confirmed that the monarch’s palace wa sealed after Coronavirus cases was observed.
This is also speculated that the Emir may have been down with the deadly virus (COVID-19).
Dr. Yakubu Aminu was his physician but was reported that he died of Coronavirus shortly after he meets with Emir Umar and his first wife, Hajiya Binta Umar.
