A Prominent Commissioner Who Celebrated Abba Kyari’s Death Is Down With Coronavirus

Kano state former commissioner for works, Mu’az Magaji, tested positive for COVID-19.

Mu’az Magaji stepped down from his seat after being ousted by governor Abdulahi Umar following the celebrating of Abba Kyari’s death, the president chief of staff.

Subsequently, Mr. Mu’az posted on his Facebook page saying This Morning My NCDC Test is Out… I have been confirmed COVID-19 positive… And have been moved to one of the state facilities… Pray for us.”

Last month the former commissioner posted a message on his Facebook page in which he celebrated the deaths of former Chief of staff, Abba Kyari.

He never denies the accusations of celebration for the death of former Chief of staff; be rather, he regrated his action.

Mr. Mu’az has publicly apologized to the families of the former Chief of staff and Governor Ganduje for misunderstanding his word and actions.

Last month, the former Chief of staff to the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Abba Kyari died after being infected with Coronavirus.
