The Federal Republic of Nigeria has put to place, so many measures to curb the outbreak of Coronavirus ever since it was recorded in some states (Lagos state, Ogun State, FCT Abuja) in the country.
Closure of all the schools, including the tertiary institutions, are part of the measures taken, and ever since then, students are asked to stay at their various home and states till the pandemic is over.
But recently, it was revealed that some tertiary students have started resuming back to their various schools and campuses because of the false viral news that has been circulated in the whole internet saying that the Federal government of Nigeria has announced that schools should resume back to normal activities and that they are to return on 1st June, irrespective of the situation on the ground.
Subsequently, the federal government, through the Ministry of Education, has clarified the viral news, as “false news.”
This is made known that there’s currently no confirmed date on the resumption of all the schools in Nigeria, including tertiary, secondary, and primary schools.
