There was pandemonium at Ekiti State, around Olujoda area of Ado-Ekiti.
It was on Thursday night when the corpse of a seven-year-old-girls, Olagoke Morire, was found dead inside a vehicle owned by a co-tenant.
Based on reports, Morire and her twin sister, Olagoke Morire, were with their cousin in their house before they went out to buy biscuits.
Kehinde Ajayi, who is the mother of the deceased, said that her daughter got missing about 1:15 pm after Mokore left her in the compound to look for the money she left in the room.
Mrs. Ajayi said that the deceased’s twin sister and her neighbors raised the alarm when she couldn’t be found, and the situation prompted them to search for the twin around the compound to no avail.
Her corpse was found inside a co-tenant’s car that was parked in their compound at about 8 pm.
Mr. Abutu Sunday, who is the Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, Confirmed the incident describing it as unfortunate.
