Nigerians under the Nigeria Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management affairs have been accusing and criticizing Hajia Umar Farouk, the Minister for Humanitarian and Disaster Management affairs in Nigeria, over the way she handles the portfolio assigned to her by President Buhari’s administration.
The attacks were because she insisted that the government school feeding program must continue daily despite the pandemic and the lockdown in many states of the country.

Minister Hajia Umar said that the pupils would be fed at their different homes. Still, many people think otherwise and accused her of trying to siphon public funds all in the name school feeding, which gulps millions of naira monthly.
Among the people attacking her is a popular Nigerian Musician, Edrees Abdulkareem, who is also known for his fearless criticisms of evil government officials.

He accused the minister of trying to lie even during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
Since the minister decided to go on with the school feeding program which will not feed pupils in their homes, she announced some days ago that she had spent some amount of money to carry it out. But the er announcement was met with criticisms and attacks from Edrees, who believes that she is committing financial fraud and not feeding the pupils.
