COVID-19: Lagos State To Commence Teaching Via Radio And TV Stations-Details

Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, who is the Commissioner for Education Lagos State, has disclosed that they are making arrangements for all the SS3 candidates preparing for the West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSEC) to be taught some core and essential subjects via radio and television.

During an interview on LTV’s ‘Lagos Yesterday,’ the state commission for Education said that teachers would pre-record lesions in eight subjects for broadcast on television, radio, and also online.

The core and listed subjects include Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Literature-in-English, Economics, and Financial Accounting.

She also added that,

“You know in our classes there are lots of children and children will always play with each other.

“So it is to protect our children; we agreed that all schools should just shut down.”
