Governor Hope Uzodinma Approves Establishment Of 15 Almajiri Schools In Imo State

His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Executive Governor of Imo State, sues for peace in Imo state, he has ordered the immediate establishment of fifteen Almajiri schools in Imo State.

In the three senatorial districts are to have five in each of them,

The said approval was given through a memo to the state Universal Basic Education Board (IMSUBEB) dated Thursday, May 21, 2020.

The Executive Governor expressed his satisfaction with the increase in the Population of Almajiri in Imo State.

He further stated that the influx of Almajiri shows that the Government of Shared Prosperity has transformed into the most beautiful state in Nigeria.

The state Governor also vowed to defend the unity of the country with everything he has and urged Imo State People to See the Almajiris as there brothers and sisters and even to live in peace with them.

Almajiri is a citizen of Nigeria and can reside anywhere in Imo State, and if wishes can contest for public office he said,

The Almajiris school programs are to increase their capacity to participate effectively in all aspects of socio-political life in Imo State.
