According to the report, President Muhammadu Buhari might have asked his newly appointed Chief Of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, to cancel all approvals and appointments made by the late chief of Staff Abba Kyari without no one’s permission.
However, no reason was given for the president’s alleged actions, but the report has it that not less than 150 memos without the president’s authorization may have been disclosed.
Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and publicity, has acknowledged the Guardian’s SMS seeking clarification on the development but will refuse to confirm the reports.
He simply said, “I’ve seen your text. I’ve seen your text.”
