It was the brainchild of the government to lockdown schools and churches ever since the uprise of Covid-19 to ensure the safety of school children. It is displeasing that students have been at home for some months now.
It is despairing that on a daily basis, there are still records of Covid-19 cases. Recently, a total of over nine thousand cases have been recorded. It is noteworthy that the government is working hard to contain the virus, and that is why schools have remained locked.

Undoubtedly, 2020 SSCE and Final Year Students were more affected than other students. This is because these two classes are almost at the point of graduation before schools were declared closed. This feels bad.
SSCE students, who should have been done with WAEC and by now, started admission processing, have been delayed. This shows that if Covid-19 persists, they may not write their exams this year. But, God forbid!
Final Year Students, who are almost at the first-semester examination, have also been delayed. If Covid-19 continues, no graduation for them and no service as well.
However, SSCE and Final Year Students should understand that the government is not oblivious to these delays. The government is working hard to know how to help.

SSCE and Final Year Students should take note of the following:
1. No date has been fixed for resumption.
2. Keep studying hard because exams can kick off at any time.
3. Pray that God will intervene in this dilemma.
