Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua the former state governor of old Ondo State is dead.
He died at the age of 80 years.
The report gathered that he was the second civilian Governor of old Ondo state, he passed on in the early hours of Thursday in Ikere-Ekiti.
A close member of the family in Ekiti state where the former Governor now deceased hailed from confirmed his death.
Also, Muyiwa Olumilua, who is his eldest son, currently the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation in Ekiti State, confirmed the death of his father.
The late Olumilua was the Governor of old Ondo State, Nigeria, from January 1992 to November 1993 during the Nigerian Third Republic.
He Olumilua was elected under the platform of the Social Democratic Party until General Sani Abacha took over and restored a military regime.
