Mrs. Queen Igbinevbo, the wife of Comrade Promise Igbinevbo, who is pregnant, has died after being raped and murdered in their residence in Benin.
The criminals were said to have come in search of the husband of the deceased Comrade Promise Igbinevbo, who is a governorship campaign coordinator.
However, when they couldn’t find the man, they resulted in raping his pregnant wife and subsequently murdered her.
The neighbors who have not seen Mrs. Queen for a while decided to check up on her and discovered her dead.
A source said, “I didn’t see Queen for days, so I decided to check if she’s fine because she stays alone. I saw her naked, blood and foam was coming out from her mouth, and there was semen all over his body. We immediately called her husband, who stays in another place.”
Another source said they have been seeing strange men moving up and down the street just days before the incident happened.
The murder of Mrs. Queen has sparked different protests all around the state as the protesters took the protest to Edo state police Command demanding that the killers of the deceased should be brought to face the law.
The source said three people had been arrested in connection with the murder as investigation continues.
