Tears Roll As Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta State Governor, has lost one of his appointees, Commissioner Joyce Overah to the cold hands of death on Tuesday.
The Joyce Overah was the member representing the people of Sapele and Okpe in the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Developments Commission’s Board, DESOPADEC.

The Joyce Overah was said to have passed away on Tuesday afternoon, June 9, in Sapele. Joyce represented Sapele, Okpe, and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the DESOPADEC board.
Joyce Overah, it was gathered, collapsed moments before his swearing-in as member of the current board of DESOPADEC by Governor Okowa and was conveyed from the event through an ambulance.
The Sapele Local Government Chairman, Hon. Eugene Inoaghan, confirmed the death of the former member of the House of Representatives today.
He said the death of the former lawmaker who represented Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie Federal Constituency, is shocking to him.

According to the Council boss, Hon. Joyce Overah will be greatly missed by the People’s Democratic Party members in the State.
The commissioner died in his late 50s and was survived by six children and an aged father.
