Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Members of the family of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), from Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku in Umuahia North local government area of Abia State, gathered to a peaceful protest.
The reason for the protest is to let the state and the federal government know that the people of the community and the entire community are not members of IPOB regardless of the fact that the leader of the group is from the community.

A handful of the protesters were seen carrying placards with the inscriptions that the community is a peaceful one and has no ties to the group.
The DPO also addressed the crowd and urged them to keep going on their protest peacefully
