Lagos State government has announced the suspension of the reopening of churches and mosques in the state.
Recall that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had announced that Mosques would reopen on Friday, June 19, while churches will reopen on June 21.
However, speaking on Tuesday, Sanwo-Olu, during a press briefing, said the decision to suspend reopening of religious centers followed the rising cases of COVID-19 in the state.
