Malian soldiers have arrested President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita and Prime Minister Boubou Cisse of Mali.
Soldiers had earlier been reported to have rounded top government and military officers in Kati town and other towns.
So many citizens can be seen gathered in a large crowd at Independence Square in Banmko, Mali, and so many other places.
Demonstrations asking Keita to resign have been going on in the country for almost three months.
This has led to a dozen losing their lives on the cause of the protest.
The removal of Keita comes after the Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS) intervened.
