#EndSARS: Sanwo-Olu reveals when curfew may be lifted

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the state Governor of Lagos State, has hinted that the 24-hour curfew imposed in its State may be lifted by Friday or Saturday, October 2020.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed this while addressing residents in a Lagos state-wide broadcast on Thursday morning.

“Once we see the streets are cleared up and all the agitation and high nerves have gone down, we might slow down the curfew by tomorrow or next tomorrow at the latest,” he said.

However, Sanwo-Olu imposed the curfew on Tuesday, following over ten days of #EndSARS protests around the State.

After the initial 4 pm time it was to start, men believed to be officers of the Nigerian Military opened fire on the #EndSARS, peaceful protesters gathered at the Lekki toll gate Lagos State.

According to INFO XCLUSIVE MEDIA report, many were killed, while others were injured, and some declared missing.
