The violent protest that swept through Akure, the capital of Ondo state on Wednesday when hoodlums under the guise of #EndSARS protesters torched some buildings moved to the state’s southern senatorial district Thursday.
The hoodlums invade the Okitipupa Local Government Secretary and set it on fire after attacking the council premises.
According to eyewitnesses, the town’s tensions increased when police tried to ensure that the angry youths obeyed the Curfew imposed by the state government.
Many seized motorcycle and other Valuable things at the police station were said to have been carted away by the protesters.
Meanwhile, as at the press time, the protesters were said to be on their way to the prison to release the Prisoners.
It is yet to be made known if casualties were recorded during the arson.
