The national leader of APC, All Progressive Congress, has recently dismissed claims that he relies on payment made at the lekki toll gate.

His clarification was contained in the Sunday statement titled “The #EndSARS protest; a fundamental lesson in democratic governance’.

The Lagos state’s former governor has repeatedly reported that he is linked to the Lekki Concession Company (LCC).

The Lekki Concession Company (LCC) constructed and controlled the Lekki-Ajah axis.

The company was reported that he built another toll gate near chevron, but residents and groups kicked against collecting payments there.

Lekki Concession Company (LCC) makes millions of naira every day from the lekki toll gate. Many people claimed that the firm is begin owned by the Lagos state, former governor Tinubu.

Amind the #EndSARS protest; the former governor was recently accused of working with the federal government to disperse the protesters.

They argue that Tinubu was not happy that his alleged asset begins deprived of steady cash flow.

 Remember that the Lekki toll gate was the location hundreds of youths gathered to protest against police brutality in the country.

Recall that it was reported that on October 20, the military moved in and opened fire on unarmed civilians bearing the Nigerian flags and chanting the national anthem.

As fondly called, the jagaban insists that he has no stake in LCC in his recent reaction.

He went one to declare that his income remains the same without earnings from the toll gate collection.

“I ask people to thoroughly investigate the matter of my alleged ownership of the toll gate. By seeking facts, instead of being swayed by gossip, you will find I have no ownership interest or involvement in the toll gate.

“Having no business interests in the operation, my income remains unchanged whether one or 100,000 vehicles pass through that gate”, the politician asserted.
