US election: Again, Trump declares himself winner

The Republican candidate,  Donald Trump, has again declared himself a winner of the 2020 US presidential election which held on November 3 in the United States.

Incumbent President, Donald  Trump,  declared this via a tweet Monday morning saying  “I won the election,”.

Donald Trump, backed by top members of the ruling Republican Party, has refused to accept defeat to Joe Biden of the Democratic Party.

Joe Biden scored over 270 and won Donald Trump in a tight race to the White House.

The Democrat candidate, Joe Biden has since assumed his role as the President-elect, preparing to take over White House.

However, Donald Trump has filed a flurry of court cases, challenging the Democrats candidate’s victory, insisting that the 2020 US election was massively rigged and there are so many irregularities.

Before now, Donald Trump had expressed the hope of being declared the winner of the Presidential election, saying results that would be announced this week would put him ahead of  Joe Biden.
