Here are three things that will make Nigerians not to forget Muhammad Buhari.

Since the Nigerian leader, Muhammad Buhari entered politics after being president of Nigeria during the military regime for almost two years.

He (Buhari) wanted to become the President of Nigeria in 2003, where he ran against former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Still, He later lost the election, Obasanjo was declared the winner, allowing him to run for a second term.

After a long term of four years, Obasanjo completed his term in office in 2007 when the Peoples Democratic Party fielded Umaru Musa Yar’adua as its candidate from the same state as President Muhammad Buhari.

The Late Umaru Musa Yar Adua was an easy-going, socially responsible person and educated.

President Muhammadu Buhari contested for the presidency in Nigeria after losing for the fourth time in 2011.

He became the president of Nigeria in 2015 when the country was in a state of insecurity that was beginning to worsen since 2009 – 2010.

The way President Buhari won the 2015/2019 election cannot be forgotten in Nigeria.

1. Muhammadu Buhari campaigned for full security in the country since he came to power in Nigeria in 2015, intending to bring about change in Nigeria’s insecurity; from the beginning of his rule, there have been changes in the security sector.

But later, Buhari returned like a debtor promising to end security. There have been recent attacks in which Boko Haram has killed many people, kidnappers in North-Western Nigeria there is no day they don’t attack.

2. The president has promised to provide basic necessities like a good education and food security, but he failed woefully. Since the beginning of democracy, there has never been a government in which the poor suffered as much as President Buhari’s-led Administration.

3. History will never forget Muhammad Buhari as president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
