The Department of State Services (DSS) has warned citizens against plans by some Nigerians to launch ethnoreligious violence in the country.
The DSS warning was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by Dr. Peter Afunanya, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Service.
In the statement, the states targeted include Kano, Sokoto, Kaduna, Rivers, Plateau, Oyo, some parts of South East, and Lagos state.
The most targeted place includes; leaders, religious centers, and other prominent Nigerians.

According to Afunanya, the Service warned the elements to desist from any planned nefarious acts or face the full wrath of the law.
