Heavily armed DSS officers storms Kano state Mosque house, reason so shocking

Following the Kano State Government’s prohibition of Sheik Abduljabar Nasiru Kabara from Islamic activities, preaching and praying in his Mosque and the Department of State Security, DSS, has drafted armed to teeth personnel to ensure no breakdown of law and order.

The Kano State government had debarred Sheikh Abduljabar Sheikh Nasir Kabara from preaching in the state for his mode of teachings considered to inciting and violent.

The Kano state government Security Agencies took the measure according to an insider, to prevent the Sheikh’s followers from coming on a protest or anything that will create uncertainty.

The Kano State government according to Malam Muhammad Garba, the State Commissioner for Information, decided to avoid creating tension in Kano State.

Malam Muhammad Garba, the Commissioner for Information also announced that all seminaries run by the clergyman would be shut down pending investigation by the state security agencies.

The State Commissioner for Information further stated that the council has directed all broadcast stations and social media platforms to abstain from airing such enflaming preaching, propagation, sermons, and any other religious discussions in the interest of peace and tranquility in the State.

Malam Muhammad Garba further revealed that security agencies have been directed to ensure full compliance and take decisive actions against any person or group found flouting the order.

However, on Thursday, heavily armed Department of State Security personnel was seen at strategic locations around the Sheikh’s places of worship to ensure peace.

The Qadirriya house where the Sheikh was born, sometime in 2008, witnessed heavy drafting of Department of State Security personnel, Armed Military, and Mobile Policemen, following threat to peace, as they were prohibited from carrying out their annual Mauqibi religious festival in the state.
