The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, said the citizens of Nigeria have the power to sack any government it doesn’t want.
He said the citizens are the employers that can decide to sack their employees (government) when they are found wanting in service.
The IPOB leader in a tweet on his official Twitter page on Thursday morning said it is time for “payback”.
Recall that members of IPOB have been accused of being responsible for the attacks being launched on security operatives in the South East.
The former Inspected-General of Police, IGP, Muhammed Adamu, has ordered police officers on Tuesday to go after IPOB members over the recent attacks that rocked Imo State correctional centre and Police Headquarters in Owerri.
In his tweet, Nnamdi Kanu stated that the government has killed citizens enough and it is time for them to revenge back.
The tweet reads: “No government can defeat her citizens. The citizens are their employers. You can never be stronger than your employer. He/She has the right to sack you.
“#Nigeria Govt with British Neo-Colonialists have killed us enough. Time for citizens to pay them back in their coin. #UGM”.
