The previous leader of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the person of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed hope that regardless of what we are facing, Nigeria will conquer its security and different difficulties.

Obasanjo said he was a miserable healer who believed in Nigeria and knows full well that the nation would conquer a significant number of its difficulties.

He offered this expression on Wednesday while talking at the 10th Annual Conference of the Nigerian Baptist Convention (NBC) in Ogun State where Governor Dapo Abiodun and his Oyo State partner, Seyi Makinde, were available.

Olusegun Obasanjo said that although the current circumstance of Nigeria might be tough, the nation will most likely win.

Meanwhile, the previous president called for peace, unity, and an end to violence in the country.

Referring to the two governors, Obasanjo said: ” Both my brothers talked about our situation. You know, I am an incurable optimist about several things, but particularly about Nigeria. “

Nigeria is presently wrestling with the issue of terrorism, theft, robbery, and harassment of farmers by herders everywhere in the country.

The difficulty we have in this nation is the absence of a sufficient security organization and has caused the passing of numerous Nigerians.

Bandits, kidnappers, terrorists, hoodlums, as of late have made the education area their principal objective with a considerable lot of the students they kidnapped and killed.

If we must overcome these challenges, we need to meet up as a country, we need to hold hands together to battle wrongdoing since no one is protected in this nation any longer.

The war against insurgency and insecurity should be viewed as one-individual issues. Everyone should hold hands together and say ‘ No’ to wrongdoing.

If we as a whole met up, it will take us an exceptionally short effort to pursue bandits out from the Nigerian boundary to reestablish harmony and peace to the country.
