A woman known as Josephine Onche who went missing in 2019 has been found dead and buried in a shallow grave in Obi LGA of Benue State.
The woman was an officer in the Nigerian Security Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) before she was wedded.
Reporters had it that she had gone to the market to purchase things for the ceremony when she went missing.
After 18 months, her remains have been found in a shallow grave murdered allegedly for ritual purposes by her proposed husband.
she was also known as the daughter of the ex-Mayor of Otukpo, Inalegwu Onche.
According to the source, “An okada man who realized what befell late Cynthia Onche went to her relatives and gave them the news.
He lead them to capture her proposed Igbo spouse who drove the police to Ogun State where they captured a local specialist, a Yoruba man, who played out the custom at Obi Local Government Area before he later migrated toward the South West. Both the proposed spouse and the local specialist have admitted to carrying out the wrongdoing and are by and by in police guardianship in Otukpo.”
“How could somebody who professes to adore you execute you in such a way?”, a woman inquired.
