Unbelievable! Suspected Mad Man Arrested For Raping A Market Woman In Delta State [video]

This is a very shocking and ridiculous incident that has ever been heard of, indeed, mentally displaced persons are usually seen behaving wired and in an uncontrollable manner, but this case, it is very different.

According to a report reaching us, a mentally deranged man was caught raping a woman in the marketplace. This shocking incident took place in a marketplace known as Ogbeogongo in Asaba the capital city of Delta state.

According to an eyewitness, he said that the police operatives were at the scene where the incident occurred, the incident took place around 2:00 pm.

The suspected mad man suddenly walked into the market and went directly to one of the market women who deal in palm oil and other foodstuffs, upon reaching the victim’s kiosk, the mad man used his hands to clear the bottles of oil on the table and grabbed the woman from behind after which he removed her wrappers and began perpetrating the act.

Passersby and other individuals at the market immediately rushed and rescued the victim from the hands of the mad man before pouncing on him and beating him to stupor.

The source further explained that some angry mob would have beaten the mad man to death if not for the intervention of Security operatives who arrived at the scene and took him away into their custody.

The woman due to stigmatization requested that her details should be kept a secret.

According to the DSP Aniamaka  Andrew, while addressing the newsmen said, upon the severe beating of the mad man received from the angry mob, the suspect didn’t utter a word during interrogation and he was transported to the state’s general hospital for treatment.
