APC Begs Sunday Igboho To Cancel Lagos Rally, Expresses Fear On Possibility Of Rally Being Hijacked
The Yoruba popular activist has been urged by the United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressive Congress, to cancel the Lagos state planned ‘ Yoruba Nation’ rally which is dated to hold on 3rd July, 2021.
Infoxclusive reported that Sunday Igboho is set to storm Ojota Park, Lagos State, for his Yoruba Nation Rally after holding successful rallies in Ondo, Ogun, Osun and Ekitit States.
According to information made available to us, states that the APC UK’s reason for begging Sunday Igboho to cancel the planned rally is because of the possibility of the rally being hijacked by hoodlums.
The call was made through the statement signed by chairman of APC UK, Dr. Phillip Idaewor, saying the Yoruba activist should cancel the rally over fears that it might be hijacked by hoodlums, insisting that hoodlums might seize the opportunity to unleash terror on Lagos residents.
“We urge Yoruba youths and supporters of Ighoho to encourage him to pull back on this mission as it may lead to loss of lives and destruction of property. Our main concern is about our Lagos” , part of the statement reads.
