Report gathered revealed that federal Government of Nigeria has commenced the process to bring Sunday Igboho back to Nigeria from Benin Republic.
Infoxclusive reported that the Yoruba activist was apprehended at Cotonou airport on Monday.
Nigerian government is not expected to face any resistance from Beninoise government since they are ally.
The Beninoise authority regards Nigeria as “big brother”.
Recall that Sunday Igboho was declared wanted after the Department of State Service (DSS) operatives invaded his house at soka, Ibadan on July 1.
DSS has asked him to turn himself in to the nearest security agency. But he never did.
A source disclosed to infoxclusive that there was nothing supernatural about Sunday igboho and his hideout was already known.
“If this secessionist thinks he’s hiding, that thought should be erased. The government knows where he is but is restraining due to tactical reasons,” the source said.
The strategy Federal Government employed was to wait for him until he comes out of his hiding place.
He was then apprehended just ten days after days after the federal agencies placed him on stop-list.
The July 9 memo copied the DSS, The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the Nigeria Police.
