The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu State, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has said that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) wouldn’t have been agitating for the secession of the sovereign state of Biafra if the Nigerian political leaders were doing well in the position.

He also pointed out the fact that the politicians are folding their arms, watching terrorists take over the northern part of the country.

Fr Mbaka, while addressing the congregation of his church on Sunday, he also noted that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not the only one agitating for the sovereign state of Biafra, adding that the everyone including the pastors, police, army, are all crying inside and are afraid of speaking out to avoid being killed.

“I cannot support terrorism. There is agitation everywhere. All the men of God are agitating silently. The police and the army are agitating,” he said.

“Do you blame them? If they talk, they will be killed. In the mosque, there is agitation.

“If Nigeria is doing very well, will Kanu emerge? I am for justice, equity and fair play. Look at what is happening in the North, the north is finished.”

Recalling that the Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader was arrested by the Kenyan Government and repatriated to Nigeria to face his trial in the Federal High Court after jumping bail in 2017.

Currently the IPOB leader is been detained in the Custody of the Department of State Service (DSS).
