Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has expressed optimism in “flushing out unrepentant bad eggs” from the state.

According to what we gathered, he said this in a Facebook post after meeting Air Vice-Marshal Frank Okpara.

INFOXCLUSIVE reports that there had been agitations for an Indigenous People of Biafra in Imo State and southeast region in general.

Following that since IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu was bundled back to Nigeria, the group have continually ordered a sit-at-home on Mondays.

Recalling, Nigerian officials said that Nnamdi Kanu was brought back after he jumped bail in 2017.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Uzodimma urged residents of the state to ignore the sit-at-home rumoured order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The Imo state governor made the call while addressing the congregation after Church Service on Sunday, September 12, at the Government House Chapel, Owerri.

He called on residents to go about their normal businesses, adding that those behind the order had been identified and would soon be arrested and arraigned
