Nigeria vs Ghana: I’ve not been my best since playing for Nigeria in AFCON 2021 – Aribo

England conceived attacking midfielder, Joe Aribo has said he has not been at his best for his Scottish club Rangers since subsequent to addressing Nigeria at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations played recently in Cameroon.

Aribo has scored one goal and given only two aids nine appearances across all competitions this calendar year.

Furthermore speaking to the press before Rangers’ down against Aberdeen, the Nigeria international said he is right now encountering a dunk in structure and needs to demonstrate.

“For me personally, I’ve wanted to get more numbers in terms of goals and assists, I think for myself I’ve not been at my best compared to how I was before I left for my international,” Aribo said.

“But, in football, you have these dips in form throughout a season. Hopefully, I can move past that and come tomorrow you can see a strong performance and move forward from there.”

The England born midfielder pledged to make a solid effort to guarantee he gets back to the structure he was at before to joining the Nigeria squad in January.

Aribo has been included in Nigeria’s list of players to handle Ghana in the World Cup season playoff later this month.
