The governor of Abia state, Okezie Ikpeazu recently, received the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi in his home town, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia state.
Mr. Peter Obi paid the governor a courtesy visit while he was en route to an occasion at Mater Dei Catholic Cathedral, Umuahia, subsequently, chose to follow the official courtesies and protocols by visiting the state governor.
The pair during their short meeting, examined over a confidential breakfast a few issues influencing Nigeria going from economy, politics to security.
Curiously, governor Ikpeazu vMr. Peter Obi a gift souvenir bag which bore the very first Abia state Long Term Development Plan and the Abia state Industrial Police which the governor had gotten from ECOWAS Representative at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
